It doesn’t make as good of a meme, but I think a better analog would be a house that looks fine on the outside, but is completely absurd on closer inspection. Like, random plumbing, 90% of which is unused. Five bedrooms and zero bathrooms. A basement door with no stairs behind it.

Having been there and heard the real story about why it is the way it is, the Winchester house makes a lot of sense.

You see, the thing is that this particular house actually required a lot of skill and planning to make
0/10, none of the window frames are melting into each other. Literally uninhabitable.
