Thanks for the wiki link. Since the start of the ethnic & communal genocide of Kukis in Manipur, Meira Paibis are inciting Meitei youth to rape & kill Kuki women. Sometimes Meira Paibis also hand over girls & women to be raped & killed.

It is. And the central and state govts are unmoved as they want the violence to continue. Today is the 82nd consecutive day of this violence.

The 2002 Gujarat pogrom lasted 3 days under Modi’s CMship, the 2023 Manipur pogrom is nearing 3 months under his PMship. Unless there is international pressure, unless the western world reacts strongly against Modi personally (ithraw all the awards/ honours they’ve given him, cancel his diplomatic visa, etc), there will be more violence.

Conflict provides him the means to power. Lok Sabha elections are due in 2024, Manipur is the start, he will create more conflict.

Modi needs conflict, conflict distracts people from the mess he’s made of India (people have stopped disciussing jobs & food inflation) and divides people into pro and anti camps. Even now, thera are people supporting the violence in Manipur. Modi’s supporters don’t see it as violence against Indians by Indians in India, they see it as Meitei Hindus v/s Kuki Christians and non-Hindu Meiteis.

Till Modi was voted to power, we used to be a peaceful democratic secular country with a free press, and any communal violence was quickly quelled.
