either way it’s a showerthought about humans being the natural selection for spiders, killing only the ones that come out, effectively selecting them for higher reclusion and intelligence (sorry, on phone so writing the exact text is a hassle)

this image sucks in dark mode

but I like knowing the colonists!
I don’t know if this applies to funkos, but I recently learned that anime figurines will get sticky if boxed for too long, something plasticizer evaporating and having nowhere to escape to it sticks to the figurine and makes it kinda gooey and shiny, so I don’t know if you could have it “undamaged” in its box after so long.
A digital painting illustration: A little Firefox mascot sits on a branch that he is cutting with a saw. He smiles at an AI cyber parrot that is bringing him a chainsaw.
Tablets and color calibration it seems https://www.davidrevoy.com/article1030/debian-12-kde-plasma-2024-install-guide#1-wayland
The main thing is that pipewire is a drop-in replacement because of how it works, wayland isnt

you can have uncompressed png too

You can use youtube without being logged in (and there are alternate frontends too, but they all have issues whenever google decides to break stuff).
If you want to follow people you can actually do it without an account through RSS

like, all of them?
the original steam machines had linux in a protonless time so they didn’t have much appeal in the first place
the og steam controller has hall effect triggers and I never heard any issues with them, some third party controller companies like 8bitdo have also used hall effect on their sticks for a while and I don’t think I’ve seen any complains.
that said, the sticks are gonna be TMR which is … slightly different magnetic technology.
TMR, not Hall Effect

sucky currency conversion rates they refuse to update
This goes one way or another, some countries benefit from the unchanging conversions
they take 30% cut
I don’t know how expensive it is to run Steam, and they certainly could afford to lower their cut with how much infinite money they have, but with how much Steam offers to developers and the potential cost of bandwidth, it doesn’t really seem that bad?
they are banning games on behest of Mastercard and Visa
The alternative is to be cut-off from those payment processors and only take money through some other means

Steam has so many features built-in like steam input, remote play [together], the forums with guides and stuff while most other platfors are relatively barebones, I’m not sure all stores have regional pricing either, they say Steam is a monopoly but they have done a lot to gain their market share for better or for worse
I just use water with a bit of cleaning stuff and a damp cloth.
