When you’re living in it, you don’t know what the future will have. I like my information and tech, but growing up as a kid before all that was pretty sweet. You weren’t always after knowing or researching or finding out everything. You lived more in the moment.

There was also a freedom that will never return for anyone. Imagine going places and doing things that at best will only be a story people could tell. No pictures or videos that keep or prove anything forever digitally around. It’s something you subconsciously think about now all the time. It didn’t used to exist. Also the freedom of being a kid and wanting to go hang out wondering around with friends all day completely untethered or tracked. Just a “be home before the streetlights come on” and beyond that your parents have no idea where you are and can’t call you. Getting lost was an adventure.

Ss pans can’t stay seasoned, though. You have to redo it every time you cook. Carbon steel allows for some non stick build up.

Bonus for carbon pans over stainless steel is that carbon pans hold their seasoning better than ss. You can’t really keep ss pans seasoned. They have to be re-coated every time before using. Outside of “looking pretty” there’s no reason to own ss pans over carbon. Cast iron stays seasoned best, of course, but they’re heavy as shit.

The better software part is pretty debatable, but dex is cool for the people who use it.

Fact is, most cops can’t outrun or overpower a lot of criminals who chose to resist or flee. In actuality that’s a pretty tiny part of the job. The rest is tickets, reports, paperwork, arrests with no resistance, investigations, etc. you don’t have to be an athlete or even very physically fit to do any of that. Because it’s priced higher than it should be, it has a slightly lower performance chip, a much lower capacity battery, and older battery tech that will degrade faster and charges slower. The best redmagic out specs the samsungs in every way but picture quality and does it for $500 less.

He’s lucky it was just his liver. People who overdose or try to commit suicide with it are not in for a good time or quick death and after it’s absorbed into your body it will cause a systemic shutdown of several organs like the kidneys and pancreas. Not just the liver, and there’s absolutely no way to counteract this after that first 36 hours. You will die (you aren’t getting all of the organs replaced) and it will take days before you succumb. No antidote or life support or anything can be done for you.

You’ll feel fine the first day but may have some vomiting. By day 3 the jaundice and stomach pain sets in as the liver is first to show signs of the organs failure and it’s no longer possible to counteract the drug. By the fourth day your organs start shutting down and you’ll have much more pain and vomiting. All that can be done is get your affairs in order because you’ll be dead and in pain while you wait around to die and regret your suicide.

HOT TUB TIME MACHINE!

Previews and premise made it look like it would be stupid, but that movie is pure gold. I’ve never been able to understand how such an entertaining movie had such a low rotten tomato score. So much great stuff is going on.

The restrictions on apk access over the past 10 years have already been an annoying pita. Many of the best power user apks have had to gut themselves over their original functionality, all while obtaining root access over your owned devices has become harder or next to impossible.
