I liken it to humanity devoting almost a third of our planetary output on perfecting the poison that will reduce everyone but the creator to useless, incompetent, stooges. This is obviously an incredible net good for the species as a whole. We should never stop this.
Something that I enjoy doing is telling these fuckwits to their face just how despicable they are. Lay it out in excruciating detail exactly how stupid, ignorant, gullible, and hateful they are and how it directly makes their own life materially worse.
The looks on their faces as I go on and on about their many, MANY flaws and how badly they have fucked up their life brings me joy.

As someone who has always done this, this has been a very hard lesson to learn. It doesn’t make sense to me how you can go through life and NOT do that. I think you are underestimating the level of chaos and violence we are headed for. This is going to be much worse than Rome. We will be the barbarians at our own gates.
Not entirely, and you did a great job of overcoming that. But learning empathy and really anything is easiest as a child and the parents are the best avenue for that.

I would die in glorious battle to protect any of my neighbors from the fate the gov has planned. I wouldn’t think twice about it. If they roll up on me or someone near me, it will be the last day of multiple people’s lives, mine mostly likely.
Then let’s start this hot war. Waiting for the other side to shoot first rarely is the best option and waiting for them to dig in their heels more, seems like a bad idea.
It would be harder to find people willing to kidnap people off the streets if it becomes common to just shoot them on sight.

i like what you are saying, just a few modifications I would make:
-Water control and regulation should be based on watersheds. all organizations operating in a given watershed are beholden to the laws of that watersheds own regulator. this would allow for actual management of the resource and protection from exploitation.
-there would need to be a strong incentive to work together with other municipalities and not be antagonistic. I am unsure what that would look like, but when you reduce central power, smaller powers can attempt to oppress others more easily.

I’ve seen reports that Israel knew about them beforehand as they were warned by Egypt (as though the surveillance network of Israel didn’t already know about it), and they just… didn’t do anything? So idk about conspiracy theory but them helping it to go off seems more like a plausible take based on the evidence.
It’s wild the shit that they have done, and people still think they are the victims in any capacity.
