And was detained at his naturalization hearing, aka when trying to become a citizen. He absolutely had the papers he needed, he had the permanent resident card, and there was never any communication about the missing form.

A New Lawsuit Says His Insurer’s Ghost Network Is to Blame.5·2 months agoThere is a lot of oversight on therapists, every state has a regulatory board. We have to go through thousands of client hours before getting our license, which can get revoked if we do anything illegal or unethical. Maybe you’re thinking of life coaches?
I, too, thought today was Thursday. That’s actually why I posted this, to confirm reality.

Probably the new variant. Our latest booster was 6 months ago. This variant KICKED OUR ASS. We are on week 2 of coughing, wheezing, and feeling extremely tired. Lost a bunch of income from our respective businesses because we were not able to do any work at all.
This was a stark reminder of how important it is to keep up with boosters. I hope that we can find a way to keep getting them, even if that means paying out of pocket or lying.

Like first responders got during 9/11.6·3 months agoIt always amuses me when local shops/restaurants give discounts to cops but not to mental health workers. Like, we often clean up trauma inflicted by cops. Get your priorities straight.
If I didn’t have kids, I’d totally do that. Well, also if I didn’t have one dog that’s terrified of strangers.

Either way, it worked, and I crumbled like the liar I was.

The temp went up to 42 Celsius, and my mom thought I was dying. She wanted to call the ambulance, and I had to come clean. Fun times.

A vaccinated man in Colorado was just diagnosed with measles. Of course, the severity of his illness will be greatly diminished by being vaccinated, but still.
