That’s the poor man’s solution. If you’re rich and famous like Elon Musk, you can IVF away the undesirable traits like neurodiverge or the presence of an X chromosome where there must be a Y instead /s

I would say it’s worth a complaint that you’re barely getting a tenth of the speed you’re paying for, but with cable/broadband, there’s a million and one potential causes for throughput being degraded and Cox customer support is useless.
Is the node saturated? Is there a coaxial splitter in your wall blocking high-frequency signals? Is the run from the node to your house too long or noisy? What about the run from your house to the DOCSIS modem? Is there interference somewhere? Are there coaxial ports unnecessarily connected and degrading the signal? Did they just bond the minimum number of channels to reach the theoretical maximum of 500 Mbps under perfect conditions?
Who knows! Cox doesn’t know, and Cox doesn’t care. But hey, maybe you can be tricked into spending another $20 for even more unfulfilled promises!
Cox is really living up to their namesake of being a bunch of dicks.
You are also getting Max subscription plan with this, This will completely boost up your internet speed and you will be amazed by the higher speed and smooth service.
Oh, so smooth. Doubling that arbitrary throughout limit will obviously improve latency and jitter. I always have my network fully saturated all day, every day /s
Everything will be super fast and when you stream or browse there will be no buffering or interruptions and you will have a great experience
Yes, because buffering is caused by your inability to download 62 more megabytes of video a second. It’s totally not because the server isn’t sending video fast enough or anything. Fucking slimeball.
I knew exactly what your story was going to be about by the end of the first sentence. It’s so common that it’s immediately predictable. Fuck BofA and their bullshit.
I’m sure the current government administration can, too. What’s going to stop them from abusing civil forfeiture to do it… a sternly worded letter, maybe?
No, no. Wouldn’t want anyone to be informed by media not controlled by the billionaire class. They’re perfectly fine with Fox, Twitter, and other misinformation sources that they benefit from.
When it comes to compliance and regulations, anything with the literal blast radius of a nuclear reactor should not be trusted to LLM unless double or triple checked by another party familiar with said regulations. Regulations were written in blood, and an LLM hallucinating a safety procedure or operating protocol is a disaster waiting to happen.
I have less qualms about using it for menial paperwork, but if the LLM adds an extra round-trip to a form, it’s not just wasting the submitter’s time, but other people’s as well.
JavaScript was a mistake, but this is one of the few things they did correctly. Implicitly importing everything from a package into the current scope makes it difficult to follow where variables or functions come from, and it’s prone to cause problems when two packages export the same identifier.
If you’re an absolute masochist, there’s always a workaround. Against all best practices, you can use the deprecated with statement. Or, you can Object.assign()
the packages into the global object like a monster. Or if you’re using node, you can use the node:vm
module to create a new V8 context with its own global object of your choosing.
Does it also involve tattooing a registration number on your arm? It’s certainly going in that direction.
“DHS is leading efforts
to conduct welfare checkson these children to ensure that they aresafe and notbeing exploited, abused, and sex trafficked,” the homeland security department said in a statement to Fox 11 Los Angeles.
Fixed that for them.
He shouldn’t have back tracked. The Democrats here refused to acknowledge it, and a bunch of people refused to vote for them as a result.
You’re not thinking enough like a capitalist.
The product is transformed enough to originate in some other country, but it costs about 15% of its unit price to go through that whole process. The tariffs would make it cost 145% more, so you raise the prices by 40% to get a nice increase to your profit margins using “increased manufacturing costs” as the justification. Consumers pay the price because all the other options are either still made in China or doing the exact same thing and increasing their profits just like you are.
It’s a win/win situation for you and your investors! /s but it will happen anyways
"If you feel like your government is not representing your needs as a citizen, your best course of action would be to vote for a different political party."
I should vote for Democrats?
I'm sorry, I misunderstood your question. If your government is not representing your needs as a citizen, you should contact your local representative. Here is the email address: representative@localhost
A bleak truth, but the first time that happens is going to be the last time that happens.
Once an ICE agent gets shot for trying to disappear someone out of their own home or car, they’ll start disappearing people with guns drawn and a finger over the trigger. Innocent people are going to get killed, and the agents won’t be held accountable because it was “self-defence”.
“I get it, people are upset. It’s a big deal, a great deal, it might even be the biggest deal in the history of deals. The Democrats are mad about it, very mad. ‘He can’t do that,’ they say. They’re poor losers. They tried to make good deals like this. Tried many times. They failed, and they’re mad because I didn’t. I make the biggest, best deals. But their deals, those are no big deal. I get it, they’re mad. Mad that I did what they couldn’t. The Democrats lie, they say ‘President Trump, you can’t do that.’ But I could do it. I did do it, and I proved them wrong. Just like when I beat Biden in 2024. They said I couldn’t do it. I did it. Just like when I beat Hillary in 2020. I couldn’t do it, I did it. Just like with Obama, I did it. They keep saying I can’t do this or I can’t do that. They say it’s impossible to do these things. They say many things, most of them wrong. They don’t want to look bad, weak. The Democrats, Antifa, they’re weak, so they lie. They think everyone is weak, just like them. That’s fine, that’s fine. You see, they’re copying me now. They see a strong leader, very successful businessman, and they want to be one too. They copy me. They say what I say, do what I do, and they try to stop me. They want to be me, but they don’t want me to be me, so they lie and cheat. They rigged the economy, set it to collapse with forced ‘vaccines’ and wasteful D-E-I. I come here with my tremendous plan, going to make America great again. Bring all the business and jobs back. The Democrats cheat again, they go on CNN. They go on CNN, sell their stocks, rig the market. They didn’t think. Stocks are going to go up, way up. Numbers like you’ve never seen before. And they sold. The tariffs, I paused them. They thought they could cheat, and I turned it around. They lost big. Really big. Real Americans, we’re fine. Better than fine. The Democrats, they’re not fine. They lost, they’re mad. Only the Democrats are upset, it’s fine. Nobody should be upset about that. They played their hand and lost, and they’re mad. Don’t listen to them, they’ll get over it. They lie and they cheat, and they lose every time. We’re winning, winning big. So big. We’re going to win even bigger next week. 300% tariffs on Democrat businesses. No more foreign workers. More jobs for America.”
If the passwords were properly salted, it wouldn’t. But if they’re not salted, helloooooo rainbow tables. Or the world’s greatest crossword puzzle, like that one Adobe accidentally made. Maybe even both!
It’ll only take until he sees himself being portrayed as weak for backing off on some fucking cable news opinion spot.
I would prefer that they hurry up with it. With the unbelievably short attention span and memory of his voterbase, 90 days is about 87 too late for them to be able to correlate their support of him with any financial consequences that personally affect them.
Oh, it won’t even come to that. The agency behind this investigation is going to be made more efficient instead.
Didn’t South Park do an episode about this?
That would be reasonable if it was in good faith. RFK is not performing research to gain a better understanding of neurodivergence. He’s looking to affirm his personal opinion by finding a correlation to conflate into causation.
He’s rejecting existing findings.
And prescribing his belief as the correct one.
Do you notice how he said “toxin” instead of “factor” as well? This is an intentional choice of words, framing autism as a disease caused by harmful factors. This is not somebody who is interested in understanding it.
There’s more awareness and openness about autism than there used to be? How shocking similarity with the “increase” in homosexuality some decades ago. Maybe it’s new-fangled chemtrails turn people gay and autistic.
Again, he is not looking to understand what autism is or how it affects those living with it. Those are not words of support for a demographic of disadvantaged people. Those are words aspiring to eradicate an extrinsic medical condition like HIV or cancer.
Yeah, because children that young aren’t screened for it.
But again, notice the word choice? “Regressed.” This is somebody who sees neurodivergents as undesireable and beneath himself.
Make no mistake: RFK isn’t promising any other solution to autism than a Final Solution.
