Stories like this are why my blood boils any time someone suggests that something being legal means it’s a-okay.

And why I hope there are other Player 2’s out there in the world keeping watch over the health insurance and pharma price gougers, because we know definitively that the Republicans and Democrats aren’t going to do a goddamn thing.

And this bullshit is particularly galling:

In a motion to dismiss the Schmidkneckt’s lawsuit, Optum Rx expressed “its deepest sympathies” for Cole’s death

Walgreens also offered its deepest sympathies and cited privacy

Basically, try and avoid comments that could get the admins in trouble with the police etc. Direct calls to violence, or doxing etc fall into this category. It’s worth noting that it’s a FAR higher barrier than what makes advertisers unhappy.

Luigi is just a name. It could loosely be seen as threatening, but it’s nebulous.

Something like “CEO X will be at Y beach on this date, without much security. It would be an excellent time to blow their brains out, while their family watches.”

Filling in the blanks with legit information, and posting it with intent would be over the line.

“Luigi” is a direct call for violence, especially with the context. People are able to understand what you are talking about and you don’t need to say “I WILL KILL YOU” to “be in trouble”.

I will fully support unlimited funding for pharmaceutical research in exchange for all medication to be free.

It wasn’t Albuterol he wasn’t able to get, it was fluticasone/Advair Diskus.

No doubt it’s also cheaper on Amazon if that is even feasible in that mess. But I don’t blame the victim for not going to Amazon when his provider fucked him.

@Hobbes_Dent OK, well fluticasone inhaler you can get for $21.95 for a pack of five inhalers from Amazon, Advair if you want the disk as opposed to an inhaler, IS expensive but not $500, $375 current listed price, but you can get the same drug in the same form discus package for $71 if you’re willing to go with generic. I’ve used the latter and it’s worked fine for me.
