I think you need to work on recognizing when you’re in over your head.
Yeah, let me work on not expressing anything that I expect to be ideologically incorrect in a given space. Does leftymemes not like my criticism of leftists who enabled Hitler? Oh no, how will I survive the negative feedback

Downvote the fuck away, the only thing I fear is a fascist taking advantage of division and taking power, ready to put us both in a camp just for commenting here. Surely that could never happen, right?
I’m not saying it to be catty, I don’t really have a dog in this fight. I know very little about early 20th century European politics, and even to me it is obvious who in this conversation has read books on the topic, and who’s maybe read a wikipedia page if anything. I honestly believe your life (and that of those around you) would improve if you worked on being more self-critical. You’re coming off as the guy in the typical mansplain story where a guy at a party explains to the author of a book that she’s misinterpteting her own book.
Am I talking to people who wrote the books? Or the same people who would have been diehard KPD, focusing on tearing down the SPD while Hitler takes power, cackling?
Thanks for your unsolicited input on how to improve the life of a stranger.
Alright you do you
