Chili pancakes
Makin’ chili pancakes
Took some chili and I put it on a pancake
Which is basically pizza, right?
My pitch is a new Pizza Rule: Anyone who describes Chicago-Style Garbage as “Pizza” is allowed to be shot on the spot
Simple, effective, a rough culinary equivalent of planting a tree for future generations, what’s not to love?
Chicago deep dish is great. Cope.
Ever wonder why other cities always have New York and Detroit style pizza everywhere, but only Chicago themed shops have Chicago style?
It’s not because that wet-ass casserole is “great” ;)
It’s good, it’s just more of a casserole than a pizza
Crispy Chow Mein
Fans of The Wizard of Speed and Time might remember the sushi pizza scene. Yecch! :)
Don’t know how new it is but we’ve been making one with just thinly slightly sliced zucchini & a little cheese. Don’t know where the idea came from but its really good. Kind of juicy & savoury.

fucking california
My local pizza place has an off-menu pizza called the Hossenfeffer since it’s what I order every time. Deep pan, spicy beef x 2, spicy pork x 2, lamb doner (gyro) meat x 2, pepperoni, jalapenos x 2, fresh green chilles.
So, a sort of dough bucket filled with all the meat? A meat pie?
They also offer bacon, garlic sausage, salami, meatballs, Tandoori chicken, and ‘Mexican’ chicken whatever that is.
So the Hossenfeffer only has 40% of their meat choices.
And, yes, it’s ironic, I know, that they don’t do rabbit.
how is Middlesbrough? Is it still a shithole?
Haven’t been there in many years, but I’m sure it’s actually very lovely.
Haven’t been there in many years
holy fuck, it was a close enough guess for you to have been there.
I posted that because it reminded me of the takeaways up there, and that it’s been consistently a horrible place to be. In fact, it was called the worst place to live in the UK in 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/tees/7120486.stm
Been there once that I recall - friends from university came from up that way. Surely if you’re going for a takeaway in Middlesbrough you get a parmo?
I live in one of the places that frequently gets in the top ten best places in the country to live. Not sure I’d agree, but then I’m a country boy at heart.

yeah you do. But when you live there, you mix it up from time to time. The kebab , peppers and salami reminded me of hotshot parmos. Also the tandoori chicken as a topping.

I guess none of that reflects on the place you live. Still, it’s fun to call out Boro and its lack of luster. You can probably corroborate with your friends what it’s like to live there, and when I was there, it was a shithole.
More pizza places need to carry sun dried tomatoes. Put them on a white pizza with spinach ftw.
Reverse Pizza aka Hidden Pizza: Put the toppings first then the dough on top
Imam bayıldı on a chewy sourdough base. No cheese.
Abi biraz yavaş gel, “BEN TÜRKÜM” dile levha koymuş gibisin.
Lmao I feel like I’m letting the camraderie down now by not actually being Turkish (or even a brother). Zeytinyağlı cooking is crazy good tho and would go so hard on pizza.

Did this translate properly btw?

(Older) Bro slow down, you might as well (it’s like you) put up a sign saying “I’m Turkish” t:::
So how did you get so exposed to very specific Turkish home cooking? Good holiday, friend or partner?
Rectangular pizza, whatever toppings make you happy, rolled up like a Swiss roll. Bake, cut into slices, and enjoy.
So an involtini or roulade, can confirm they’re delish.
Take a margharita or just tomato pizza and then just dump some paella or chorizo rissotto onto the top. This isn’t much different from normal pizza with spicy sausages and mushrooms and vegetables, but it is a new way of doing it, and noe you have a bunch of rice for added calories
Pizza Orb. Now even more round!
Is the inside filled to capacity or are we letting the toppings roll around and fall to the bottom?
time to deliver a pizza ball
I don’t think I’ve seen tuna offered as an option in the US. Tuna in olive oil is amazing on pizza.
Turn it into a stew.
It’s called “deep dish”
The bread bowl of pizza.
Deeper dish
It’s simple.
You don’t want to eat old pizza.
Eat new pizza instead, It’s fresh! Here’s the thing about old pizza: it’s also very good.
You’re thinking of leftovers. That’s different than food that’s old.
