Domestic issues will always take back seat when your country’s survival is at stake. Rally around the flag always happens when defending against aggressor. Many Iranians might despise the oppression carried out by IRGC, but they recognize that if IRGC falls, so does Iran as a sovereign state.
I completely agree. I found it asinine when they were telling Iranians to rise up against their government right after bombing the school.
