Ah, My mind immediately went to the three people that broke in. Since the landlord wasn’t at the scene, I’m guessing the tenant needs to prosecute before the landlord will face charges.
I hate landlords like the next serf but criminal law requires evidence to prosecute… So unless victim produces it or police find it, it doesn’t look like there is a case.
The very bottom of the article states that they were arrested and have since been released. Likely under bail.
