Summary

Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo advised against adding fluoride to public water systems, citing potential neuropsychiatric risks and the availability of fluoride through other sources like toothpaste.

This stance contradicts major medical organizations, including the CDC and the American Dental Association, which support fluoridation to prevent tooth decay.

Ladapo, known for controversial health views, is reportedly under consideration for roles in a potential Trump administration.

His recommendation aligns with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s health chief appointee and a vocal opponent of water fluoridation.

Hey I remember seeing this guy on the news. Wasn’t he the one Desantis had propped up during Covid that was recommending Ivermectin and some of the other quack theories?

It would make sense if so he would be under consideration then. He’s right in line with Trump and his batshit ideas.
