I remember those “raise your hands above your head so we can digitally strip you nude (we won’t touch ourselves, promise*)” scanners when they first came out. They were also going to replace an equally effective scan method that wasn’t privacy eroding. And, guess what? You can still opt out of those a couple decades later.
*Literally happened several times. It was on the news, and it was appalling.
She’s not rich enough to be innocent until proven guilty.
I really wish there was a way to flat out block DMs on here. Just flat out block from everyone.
This is actually one of the best solutions to this problem I’ve seen this whole time. Expand it to include all affected US companies. What’s she point of being a global company, if you can’t leverage your globalized nature for your advantage?

This, alone, deserves an updoot lol one of the best, most destructive insults imo
These are awesome!
No, I agree with you. I just wish these ticketing middle-companies didn’t exist.
Dude, I just stopped going altogether. It sucks, but I can’t deal with these fools anymore. And, no, I’m not suggesting you stop going. I’m actually not suggesting anything. All I’m saying is that I’ve had enough, so I’m done with all of those dead weights, and if that means I have to sneak into shows or watch recordings, so be it.
Like MySpace, Reddit, as we knew and loved it, died a long time ago (arguably long before the API scandal). The API scandal was just the straw that broke the camel’s back for many of us.
But this one is different… … … I just can’t remember how… but I know they said this one is different, so it must be… right?..
Edit: autocorrect
In practical terms, how significant is this accomplishment? I didn’t understand the future implications.
Finally, something I can get behind.

Well, shit.
Yes. Windows Pro. They’re talking about Home OOTB. And in pro, even though you still can (for now), they keep nagging you about the ms account.
Upgrades are a different process than a brand new install. Going from 10 to 11 on a Pro is an easy process. Long, as in a couple hours, but easy. The post is talking about brand new installs (the OOTB experience).
And it still tries to convince you to go MS account with it’s, “even better, create a Microsoft account” link that’s conveniently located where the Next button should be.
But not for the home version of Wubuntu 11.
TLS? Noobs. All the cold kids just cleartext it.
