Selfhosted@lemmy.world•It's self hosting Sunday! What's up selfhosters? Infrastructure editionEnglish
2·3 months agoYeah, I’m aware of the overhead and hope I won’t have to roll back to something less, but if it turns out to be too demanding, I will have to roll back to nfs or think of something else.

4·3 months agoI’m planning on using proxmox with Ceph. I’m already using proxmox for virtualization of my k8s nodes, but with three hardware nodes it’s finally time to enable ceph as well as HA.

4·3 months agoHere’s my list
- K9s, it’s a TUI kubernetes dashboard/management tool. Since I work a lot in my terminal, having this kind of tool there just made sense.
- Corner, it’s a task manager, and yes, It’s TUI as well.
- Yazi, a really amazing file manager, and yes it’s of course TUI.
- Absorb, it’s an android app that integrates with audiobookshelf, and honestly it is just amazing.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's an online service you happily pay for?English
0·4 months agoCurrently, I’m paying for a vps where I run a test environment for my homelab. I also pay for mail and vpn services, support some FOSS projects and buys music a couple times a month.
New features, fixing bugs, security fixes, hardware support, etc. Why would Linux updates be different than updates to any other OS?

I used to love keycloak, but lately they’ve made changes that make client setup feel very complicated. I switched to authentik a while back and I feel it’s far easier to deal with.
