I have “family” who are my BIL’s inlaws… was at a family dinner just after PM Carney was elected and they couldn’t stop complaining about how bad it was that he won and we might as well now become the 51st state. I asked them to explain what was so horrible about it and they just rolled their eyes and told me to stop reading the “fake news” out there.

Yep. I was holding out hope that if the orange one decided to invade us, that his troops would simply refuse. Seeing that there’s obviously some troops who are willing to bomb Venezuelan citizens though, I guess I should have known better.
On the flip side, as a Canadian, I always get a chuckle out of European tourists who think they can drive from Montreal to Vancouver in a day.
I hated Brussels… it was so depressing. I took the high-speed train from Amsterdam… my introduction to the city was stepping into Midi Station, which smelled like a urinal. The sheer number of homeless people was shocking. No one cared about them either, they were sat on the ground surrounded by garbage 💔
