Cannot wait to see their solution.

Cannot wait to see their solution.
If nothing else, I might look into something like that.
I would add a small partition, but I’m always anxious about stuff like that because I seemingly always hear things about windows messing with Linux partitions and breaking dual boot. That, and I am running out of space on my 1TB drive it came with. Two or three years of me using it thinking that I’ll never fill it up before I upgrade computers and suddenly I have to worry.
If we’re talking about the library at the college I go to, besides the wireless hotspots for students that need it, probably all the foreign language DVDs and DVD player (most likely portable)if you don’t have one.
Probably gonna keep my desktop running win10 by then because I’ll hopefully have a new desktop by then that I can easily set up Linux on. Got too much on my desktop to move over and I certainly don’t know any tools able to make the process any easier.
Probably gonna just use it as an experimental PC that I can test out server related things on.
Metronome. The chaos of not knowing what attack is gonna happen is great.
It’s why for a fan game I’m still in the planning phases of I plan on having a better version of metronome (name still undecided) that adds all attacking moves, but removes OHKO moves like sheer cold and removes all non-attacking moves. I have plans on making a special option in the intro to make every single pokemon only know this 30PP move.
Last January I got a new laptop that blows my desktop out of the water in terms of specs. I was dumb and decided to get a budget desktop because of all the USB ports and the disk drive it has. It was something like $300-400USD. My current laptop was roughly $1000USD before tax.
Had to remove the complete spyware win11, but otherwise it’s been a great laptop (minus the few times I’ve either somehow broken MXLinux or broke KDE Plasma). Totally better than my old laptop as well considering I don’t need to constantly charge my new one to keep the battery from dying and it doesn’t have a lot of damage.
I’m not that old but was dealing with that in the mid-2000s before my parents finally switched.
I signed up for the basic version of their VPN, but having their other services like protonmail or drive or pass has been great.
Free MP3 Download, which as of October 14, 2024 is still up on the megathread. The moment I start getting into downloading music online outside of downloading audio from yt videos, the site gets taken down a few months later. Now I don’t know where to go for DDL since pretty much all of the other linked sites are either anime music, game music, or upload an [ Insert Service ] link and it’ll give you an audio file to download from that service.
I second raid5 despite not having much experience with it.
I don’t know if there’s an official term, so I call it the vocalsynth genre, which includes things like vocaloid, UTAU, deepvocal, enunu, diffsinger, etcetera.
One thing I love about it is that they- especially utau because it’s free and there are a lot of voicebanks, tutorials/guides, and other things designed specifically for it- allow you to be able to create a song that would normally never be made by a famous or up-and-coming singer. At least the vocals, though, because you still need to make the backing track (or outsource that to someone else). It kinda evens the playing field when you have people who are not good at singing making songs/covers that are just as good as songs from the music industry.
Plus, there are so many original songs out there and usually covers of said songs that if you don’t like one version, you can always find another version that might sound better. That definitely holds true for the biggest songs and even various lesser known songs. All the songs are made from people across the globe, so you end up with a lot of different songs of different genres, themes, etcetera.
The only time that voice doesn’t work is if the people you’re making an appointment with only schedule out a certain time in advance and you need to go out longer. The cardiologist office I go to only ever lets you schedule 6 months in advance and I gotta go yearly, so I don’t have that luxury.
I wish that would work.
Only a couple levels in, but so far I’d say if you like collect-a-thon style 3D platformers, Yooka-Laylee is worth checking out. So far my only complaint is how they allow you to go around certain edges of the first level past the tutorial and hub, but don’t have hidden any hidden secrets.
The virtual reality you used to see in movies or on TV where you would put on a helmet and actually enter it and have full movement capabilities. Something like that one episode of Batman The Animated Series where Commissioner Gordon goes into the Riddler’s computer and gets trapped or just about any other cliche, dumb way they portrayed VR back then.
Remind me why we don’t all start throwing explosives all over and destroy everything?
Couldn’t tell you why, but my mind went straight to Wonder Woman.
I swear there is rarely ever a time when Wikipedia isn’t the best source to at least start looking into something. Definitely a modern wonder, assuming what you’re looking for is on there.
As far as I’m aware, there are no ways implemented. Got no idea because I’m not smart enough for this type of thing. The only solution I could think of is to implement a paywall (I know, disgusting) to raise the barrier to entry to try and keep bots out. That, and I don’t know if it’s currently possible, but making it so only people on your instance can comment, vote, and report posts on an instance.
I personally feel that depending on the price of joining, that could slightly lessen the bot problem for that specific instance since getting banned means you wasted money instead of just time. Though, it might also alienate it from growing as well.
