We’ve got another fan boy here who doesn’t realize Musk actually isn’t directly responsible for any of the innovations of the companies he funded or purchased. He just had money.

The lie is that Israel is any different or morally superior than the terrorists they decry. It’s a genocidal apartheid state and no amount of apologists spreading lies to the contrary will change that.

As has been done for decades, Israeli settlers invaders are using the ongoing fighting to justify forcibly removing Palestinians so they can take their things and live in their homes. They’re doing to them many of the same things that were done to the Jewish people by the Nazis and we actually have people trying to claim they’re in the right. It’s disgusting.

What’s crazy is people who think any criticism of Israel is support for Hamas and/or antisemitism. That objection doesn’t hold up under even the slightest scrutiny, yet we have people like you repeating it again and again. It’s like claiming critics of the death penalty believe murder should be without repercussions. It’s nonsensical and l, appropriately enough, I have yet to meet a single supporter of such an opinion who can provide any sort of explanation of how it makes sense.

Agreed, but I still feel it’s better than Reddit. It depends on the instance and community, of course, but assholery is far less tolerated here. At least in my experience. I do miss the pre-Reddit exodus days, though.

I drive a Prius and agree completely. It’s fuel efficient and extremely utilitarian. I can fit ten foot lumber in it, or my two big stupid dogs and our luggage for trips. Even when my wife drives like a maniac, we still get around 45 mpg. We typically end up passing slow moving vehicles on freeway on ramps, despite it having a maximum acceleration of 0-60 mph in about 10 seconds.

Either there are a lot of dim bulbs in this comment section or someone is manipulating votes. Interceptor there has an unusual distribution of vote frequency, making all of his comments outliers. I actually helped research this as an undergrad. The problem we’d always face is there are certain microorganisms, like rotifers, that can just decimate a tank of algae. Many rotifer species are parthenogenic, so it literally only takes one rotifer to knock out an entire algae tank.
