I really enjoy this form of protest. The “landed gentry” is giving the users what they want. I really hope that more communities do what /r/interestingasfuck and /r/justnomil have done to deprive Reddit of its advertising revenue.
Arch Linux, for many years now. No DE, lightdm for login, i3 for WM, no graphical file manager, Alacritty + zsh w/starship for my terminal emulator, shell, and prompt. I’m extremely comfortable with this setup and have no plans to change it (except for a probable move to sway, once I can finally get a system without an nvidia GPU).
Hey @ernest, you may want to take a look at this, someone may be maliciously injecting NSFW thumbnails into unrelated content.
Next, please legalize gay marriage. Please, Japan?
This is so strange. The actual link you posted obviously doesn’t contain that image, so I’m not sure where it’s coming from. I don’t know how thumbnails are generated or communicated by websites that are being linked to. I’m guessing someone acting maliciously found a way to change the thumbnail for this screenrant post and decided that furry porn would be the best choice.
Kbin via the PWA. I’d post a screenshot, but I don’t want to repost the porn if other people can’t see it.
EDIT: I have censored the screenshot, but I still don’t want to post it unless I’m asked.
… is anyone else seeing a thumbnail showing an anthro mouse giving a… I don’t know what that is, but the mouse is giving the other person a rimjob.
As much as I despise Oracle and the lawn mower man known as Larry Ellison, I don’t think this is a problem. Oracle also had a lot to do with btrfs, and while that filesystem has problems, they’re not the sort of problems usually associated with Oracle (i.e. rapacious capitalistic practices like patent trolling and suing the fuck out of everyone all the time always). Oracle won’t own XFS, it’s owned by every single person who has ever contributed to that codebase.
