You don’t just put a modest layer of peanut butter on both slices first?

if it’s anything like my Steam Deck, the packaging wasn’t discrete
No it’s much better this time. The shipping label still says Valve Corporation of course, but otherwise there’s no indication of the contents.

I know it’s a comic but I’m tired of this. The high heat capacity and abundance of water make it excellent for energy transfer. But it’s not the source of energy. The source is what distinguishes different types of generators, not the engineering logistics of transfer.

Oh? I’d be delighted for me to be wrong and you to be right on this.

I only see one other reply to your comment, and I’m not sure it’s making these assumptions. Maybe you could point to the ‘backlash’?
Regardless, I already said I think you’re right in the grand scheme of things and shared my input. But I didn’t write the original comments you were responding to and have no need or desire to defend those.

Ok fair, but your motives are certainly suspect nevertheless.

No, you’re right in general, but context and frame of reference are a thing. Here the discussion is specifically around reacting to the rise of Christian Nationalism.
This is Karl Popper’s Paradox of Tolerance. If these christofascists are allowed to take power, they will aggressively erode tolerance of anyone else. And based on precedent they will lie and manipulate to get that power. The response must be swift and ironclad.
Knowing the UK cultural propensity for excessive politeness and unhealthy avoidance of social discomfort, they’re probably screwed.

If you’re rooting for the spread of disease, you might want to reconsider whether you’re the good guy here.

Har har. That’s not entirely an insult though. Sometimes I enjoy brain-dead things. e.g. there’s a newish Beavis & Butt-Head short about AI, and it’s much stupider than I could have guessed, but of course I spent my time watching the whole thing.

But that’s kind of all it is? It’s pretty brain-dead IMO.

That’s all it took to get the song in my head lol

I’m scarred from smb3 days
That’s totally understandable lol, water levels and sewer levels are usually the worst in games.
But I’d still recommend Subnautica to most players. It’s one of my favorite games of the last decade and has a good balance of environmental exploration, crafting, and story that doesn’t go overboard (pun intended) on complexity. And mechanically it feels pretty good to me.

Isn’t that like 100x faster than your motor cortex can transmit a signal to your finger instructing it to move?

Over several hours, the brothers deleted approximately 96 databases storing government information, including systems tied to case management and Freedom of Information Act request processing. The affected systems were hosted on servers in Ashburn, Virginia.
Damn. If they deleted NSA or CIA data they could have been heroes. Deleting FOIAs and people’s equal opportunity cases is just shitty.

The D-pad seems quite good to me and I play things like Silksong at times. Unless you’re a fighting game diehard I doubt it would be an issue.

The joysticks are pretty comparable. The Elite 2’s are a bit thicker in the stem and cap but otherwise they feel very similar. So yeah, very good.

These sound like operating system problems TBH. Especially failure to mount drives.

Just checked and no, they feel about the same. The Steam triggers are just wider, similar to the Deck.
Great idea, but aren’t board games at least $30 each now? And TV remotes were like $80 already years ago. I’d look for things like coasters and as salt&pepper shakers that you can find at discount or thrift stores.
