This is the same Steam Deck in both pics. On the HDR part, you are most likely right. Though I dont remember this being mentioned in any reviews.

What does that have to do with anything? Is your reading comprehension out for dinner? Here:
Streaming in 1st pic, Native 2nd
Clearly two separate color palettes, or some other issue.
Monitor is an Acer ED323QUR.
PC has tons of course. SD has a few, but they only apply when playing native, not streaming.
Thank you!
I wonder if the news on X (and other media) regarding Kissinger will drown this out?
Why? Your fingers are on top of them, and games often show you the button placement, shape, or both, and some even point to it during tutorials or idle moments.
And who looks at their own buttons anyway? Lemme ask a quick question: Can you type on a physical keyboard in the darkness? That is far more complicated (though most of us don’t even think about it), but nobody gets caught looking at their keyboard, unless it’s a meme.
Not to mention the extra lighting would just take away from the gameplay.
Looks great on my mini LED screen. Honestly, why do we keep doing this?
Im on the Stable branch, and dont see any reason yet to switch to Beta. Any way we can get the list posted here?
I’ll be playing the Steam Deck OLED before Steam OS 3.5 moves to the Stable Channel LOL
Spider-Man Remastered was indeed great! I beat it then went right to Miles Morales. It’s been a Spider-Man kick here haha!
Spider-Man:Miles Morales. Hopefully by the time I beat it Spider-Man 2 will be on Steam and Deck Verified
How did you get HSR running on a Steam Deck?
Im having this same issue with Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Its totally random which game it afflicts.
For me it is quite awesome to be able to play a game on my PC, and take the Deck with me and continue the game on-the-go, then pick back up on PC, without losing progress. It’s pretty seamless.
Also, if I’m just downstairs from my PC, or outside, I can stream from PC to Deck and enjoy reduced battery consumption and faster loading times. I think the graphics look much better too, but that may be optimistic-colored shades.
smaller bezels
This would be great, plus a stretch or fill option. Bezels plus letterboxing is so annoying.
Assuming this is a refresh of the Steam Deck (Doubtful) or a Steam Deck 2 (If this happens, Ill eat a slice of pizza with double olive and double pineapple), I’d like the popular ones here, and A DECENT BLUETOOTH CHIP!
That does make sense, and unfortunately there arent a lot of settings for triggering or modifying it. Hey, thanks for the input! I’ll deal until the next color gamut patch, video driver config, etc. that they surprise us with.
