I don’t see how this is money laundering or wire fraud. I hope he gets off. Or the real best solution would to make it so the revenue just goes to the artists the AI is ripping off.
The police are typically just there to point guns, so I’d only call if I thought a gun was useful, which is extremely rare.
e: I’m answering from the USA
I would absolutely change that stance if we took guns away from cops and stopped giving them military training. Especially if they had a social worker / deescalation force that was more likely to be sent.
Yeah, 50% person actually restarted, 30% chance person is lying, 20% chance person just turned the monitor off and back on.
Children also don’t feel shame about being naked until they gain the knowledge of sexuality. Parents would probably notice a child covering themselves up after an encounter of that nature.
I’m also assuming the story would be altered in a number of ways to change the meaning to the biblical one.
When I say “libs” I don’t mean 1 party, just any party that express liberal values. Which, based on the Wikipedia page, would include PvdA and everyone to VVD. Bernie and AOC are also libs.
From what I see, the center left politicians in Europe are still liberals supporting capitalism. More of a social democracy which is for sure better than the individualistic libertarian ideas being promoted in the states, but capitalist none the less. Still not fully addressing the ethics of the population as a whole.
Also, I do realize that America isn’t the center of the world, but it definitely has serious impact on what the people of the world see as the trajectory of the future. Especially if (and this is pure speculation) if the right is able to create fox style echo chambers in other countries using the narrative of following the American superpower.
The right has a cohesive strategy for getting and keeping an animated base, while the libs are focusing on maintaining a status quo that people hate and are creating voter apathy.
I want to be clear, the way the community is named is not, “look at this sexy young woman” it is, “look at this nude of what looks like a high school girl, isn’t that hot?”
Also, this is more of cultural problem that needs some societal retraining to fix for real.
Legal =/= good
Legal =/= not bad
And no not eliminate, but it would discourage the behavior.
I would love if we had a president like the guy from Designated Survivor, someone who cared more about doing the best job for the people without his ego being the focus. Which actually might also be true about Comacho
My routine is, in this order, Lemmy, Mastodon, Tumblr
Please crack down on rolling coal in general. If you were to put it in the context of the shopping cart theory, it would be shoving your cart directly into someone else’s car.
There was one thrift shop I went to in college that would have original vinyl pressings for like $5. I think my favorite was a compilation of performances of the 1970 isle of wight festival, which includes the final show hendrix did before he died.
American here. My first car was manual and I would love to still be, but I’m a musician minivan user and they don’t make manual minivans.
Let’s get those numbers up, I’m not paying.
My mom was a chat bot, but my dad was human. So I’m a plug in human.
No one has enough money to live anymore. This isn’t a problem of people being reckless, they’re using credit because there isn’t enough money coming in to pay for everything.
There’s this old bookstore that has always looked sketchy. It’s in a district that’s had a lot of development over the past like 20 years, but that place remains. I tried checking it out once when I was younger, at least 18 if not 21. There was one car in the lot when I got there and I started to walk inside. As I was approaching, a guy stepped out and said something to the effect of, “what are you looking for?” And I answered that I wanted to browse the books. He responded, “there’s nothing for you here.” So I said, “okay” and I left. Haven’t been back since, haven’t been around there in a bit but it’s probably still there.
My downvote wasn’t in anger. It’s more about the fact that this isn’t a news article which makes it questionably breaking the rules of this /c/. Combined with the headline being serious editorializing via broad generalization of what the statement is. Not saying it’s not true, just that it’s a unnecessarily sensational.
