YouTube does control what people upload… however they have a specific fetish on what is punished and what allowed.

Their plan to hike up the prices is probably going to work for limited time only or they are feeling that migration to clean energy already. Could be both as well.
Even if they did, they wouldn’t. Analysts would jump right on analyzing the image to as high details as possible to figure out capabilities of their satellites and they don’t want that. Kind of like how Russia faked their military capability number of times, especially with airplanes.
Neither is their satellite. They can download data only when their satellite flies over NK or one of their partners if they have partnerships at all.
Not surprising considering it’s the biggest shilling platform currently available. Low price of entry and easy way to reach masses combined with plenty of people with large following and questionable morals… you can push pretty much any idea and agenda. But good thing they don’t allow swearing. That’s just too much.
Don’t forget markup price. You pay for that fan!
Most amazing thing Apple managed to do is convince fans that is how computers should behave and that’s the best there is and everything else is worse in comparison.
This is equivalent of someone saying “I am afraid of nuclear energy, imagine every country running dozens of nuclear bombs that can go off at any moment”. He clearly has no clue how AI works and is just fallen under the influence of fear mongers who know even less.
And we are just going to pretend they can use it 24/7, because they have so many partners around the world. In reality it’s like 20 minutes a day or less.
Optical devices and cables have gone a lot cheaper. Only problem is they are significantly harder to splice and require specialist equipment.
My guess is they are afraid Isral will track medics on they way to hostages.
That’s a good approach. Anything that doesn’t fit your view is biased.
Cool. We have a local, herbal focused, brand as well which I much prefer to CocaCola, Pepsi and the likes. They actually do sell glass bottles in 0.25l size, but 2l is in plastic bottle.
Transport will eventually have to go green anyway. If we are going to talk pointless transport then there are a lot of easier examples to pick. From tropical fruit to phones and small electronics. Aside from toilet paper rarely anything is produced close to where we live. Refund is definitely the way, people have to be stimulated into acting humanly, ironically enough.
I don’t know either. People seem to think companies won’t do everything in their power not to lose another penny even if it cost you your and their future. Future is for future, let them deal with it they have quarterly figures to worry about. :/
I have never tried it, so I can’t tell either. But I do remember Bitter Lemon, Coca-Cola even. They were so much better from glass bottles.
Because there’s no demand for it. Currently production is very dirty but the engine itself is green as it gets. As the demand shoots up government can and probably will stimulate green production of hyrdogen. Point is, once you have hydrogen car there’s no upgrade path needed anymore. Initial ICE engines were of poor efficiency but it got better. But we have to pick technology which can scale with demand. Batteries are simply not it, especially when it comes to big transporters like boats and trains. You can’t use batteries on those. Even trucks are problematic as battery weight significantly reduces amount of cargo.
All of that can be fixed. But one thing that can’t be done is improve energy density of Lithium batteries. Simply put they are too heavy for the amount energy they store, have issues in cold weather, prone to mechanical failures, etc. Even if high pressure tanks are more expensive, we could start with lower pressure ones and work our way up as technology improves. Simply put it scales better.
Sure, every company invests at least to a degree into R&D, that’s how you stay ahead but this is not the first time nVidia has been caught doing shady stuff. For them it’s biggest income for least amount of effort users be damned. This video albeit old and outdated does a good job at illustrating how nVidia loves abusing their position and just how malicious they are given the opportunity.
Wow, more satellites? Okay then.
Threatening the rest of the world with more satellites is like threatening Austrian with a schnitzel. Simply doesn’t work.
