Nope, the extreme battery saver greys out all disabled apps and leaves others alone. Calling is colored, messaging… and outlook.

Outlook sucks, the android app is marked as an essential/core app, meaning even in super battery saver it’s running in the background eating away a shitton of battery when you really don’t want it to do that.
They claim to not track you then, but just to be sure I finally took the step and deleted both Facebook and Instagram.
Kinda sucks, because those are the platformed I used mostly to keep informed about local events and businesses.
My devices 🤣
Funny how soon it will seem as if chrome is the most used browser while it’s actually Firefox with a user agent change
I’ve never seen a setting for autoplay, and I would really like one. Especially as sometimes in the browser when the tab refreshes it auto mutes and then autoplays. I have “watched” an entire episode once while I was away from my computer.
This, I don’t mind ads besides my content, I despise ads replacing the content, multiple times, with the same ad I already saw.
I don’t mind paying for no ads, but not at those prices.
Wow, so basically blacklisting email sender’s on ip address isn’t allowed either? When is an IP address, an individual and when is it just a machine in the cloud?
Boost show the strikethrough, not the subscript
Longbottom, might look silly/nerdy, but don’t piss me off or insult my parents ;-)
Yeah, the reason I block the ads and don’t buy premium is because the price is too high.
So their solution to selling personal data was to offer a subscription so they could show you targeted ads. That feels like paying triple; the subscription, ads and personal data.
It’s about the part where they can’t hide the data collection in the terms and conditions of the site. You have to have a separate clear consent step for them to collect the data.
Yeah, scripts to automate things. Especially the boot procedure in DOS, to allocate the memory in the right way depending on what I wanted to do.
Had a 27mc linked to my pc to download mp3s at 800 bytes a second and it needed some specific things to function.
Then came the internet and I started my computer science education, learned to program for real then, but not a lot about internet and web scripts. Taught myself html, CSS, flash, javascript, PHP, CGI and later Python and everything related to the hosting of those things.
And that’s what I still do, teaching myself new web related technologies or even re-educating myself in old ones (javascript!)
Yeah, and steamdeck might gain more customers too
justwatch.com is great for finding what you can stream where for your region.
In desperation you click the link to the old docs, change the version to the latest version and pray you don’t get a 404
