I like Lemmy’s feel. It feels much more of a community because of small size. It’s easier to catch up, like there’s not as much of a FOMO because you maybe get 1-2 new things every hour instead of having 400 posts shoved down your throat after refreshing. At least that’s how I feel
Probably just me coping, but I’m hoping this leads to the return of Airports. I still have an Airport Extreme I use for my router. Having one that can do proper mesh though would be a god send, and having Wi-Fi 6 support would be awesome along with a newer SMB standard for the Time Capsule.
I grew up in the Southern/Midwest U.S., and a large part I don’t miss, but I find myself missing the small town culture. I liked being able to know almost everybody there
Damn. Right after my Fallout New Vegas play through. This is still exciting though. It will be nice for when I decide to go back to Skyrim eventually
I’d spend so much time doing stupid shit like that. That game was great for just fucking around in with the Rocket Boosters and shit
Ironically I just picked up a book from the 80s on programming COBOL to do as a fun challenge (assuming I ever get started)
This is how I like to think about it. There’s so many cool things I haven’t gotten to experience, both natural and man-made. Giving up would mean I never get to see them and appreciate them.
3 Things: My Cat Billy Joel And my Programming
I got a M1 Pro MacBook a couple weeks ago. I’m astonished at how fucking powerful those thing are. An Intel laptop I had with similar specs would start screaming for mercy for any heavy Programming work I’d do. The MacBook just shrugs it off. Fans don’t even come on
I’ll have to look into getting a Ubiquiti once my Airport finally bites the dust because there are some QOL features I’d like to have. I’m starting to think that my airport will never die though
