The lowest wage might tell something about the most shitty boss and the most desperated worker.
But it does not tell anything about an economy.

Most of the heavy metals (yes, that includes the radioactive ones)
It’s because the water does not flow in “pipes” underground. It is nearly everywhere, and so you have “found” it most times… You just don’t know at what depth you will find it - until you ask your neighbor :)
What we know about the age of the human species, and other life, the earth, the universe etc. depends on so many guesses that we know essentially nothing.
Specifically, I think that elements and materials may have changed some of their properties and behaviour at some time in the past.
We do not know that. Most people just assume they have remained constant at all times. And we build quite many of our guesses on this assumption.
If, for example, C14 has changed it’s disintegration rate at some time, then quite many of our guesses would be very wrong.
I guess it’s because Xshitter is going down anyway, and the EU doesn’t want to take the blame for it…
When it’s about good friends, then yes, I care a lot.
auto stop features and multiple camera views
That wasn’t meant by “pedestrian safety”.
Pedestrian safety is looking at the amount of damage that a car could do to pedestrians in an accident. It comes down to how the car is built. Things like no sharp edges, no hard materials, no dangerous liquids can leak out etc.
It is quite the opposite of what Massa Elon had in mind when he designed that silly truck. And that’s why this is a topic at all.
Not exactly. As the article says, each country has it’s own registration laws, and the guidelines from this NGO are usually not a part of the laws.
A country may still have it’s own guidelines for the topic.
the EU banned
No. The EU has not done anything regarding this car or this model.
The EU is just having rules that have made the drivers licenses and the registration process comparable and somewhat similar in it’s member countries, and to let cars from the other member countries drive on their roads.
The article tells about some of these rules, but it mixes it up with the bedtime stories from this Euro-NCAP guy so that you could get many wrong ideas.
Wow. Such a confused writer. Such a terrible post.
But it was mostly just a show.
Attendee Robert Scoble posted that he’d learned humans were “remote assisting” the robots
Serious question: Wasn’t it obvious?
Summary: M$ hates their users more than ever.
Phishing?
Yes, that must be it. The gods are living up there.
The question is about whether shallow breathing and nose or mouth breathing is better.
Doesn’t matter.
Think simple: One breath moves a few liters of air. Doesn’t fit into one nose or one mouth. It must flow through. You breathe maybe 30 times per minute.
Try to do it “shallow”? Just try it out for a whole minute and watch LOL. No, you need all the air, each minute.
Move all the air through the nose or through the mouth? The virus doesn’t care. The virus can get you through all your membranes.
Most times French, and sometimes Sicilian.
You could use the usual face mask and a nose spray with carragelose.
This is not “Ask Usamerican Lemmy”.
This is “Ask Lemmy”.
Usamericans need to learn that the world is more than their (small and weird) country.
I think the same.
But if you can’t avoid it and it is only 1 time, there’s a workaround:
Use your phone.
Switch on the mobile hotspot.
Rename the hotspot Wifi-name, and it’s password.
Then set up your TV with this temp Wifi.
Then rename things back on your phone.
