Isn’t that generally how Lemmy and Reddit organize posts?
They never are. And by “they,” I mean everyone who carries a gun for “protection,” and by “never,” I mean that the good guy with a gun almost never actually stops shootings.
Just look at the numbers of justifiable homicides vs the number of murders by guns in the US. The justifiable homicides are almost statistically insignificant in comparison.
That does nothing for keylogging through this method.
I’m in the same boat. The performance of TOTK really turned me off the switch entirely because it felt like such a low quality game due to the hardware. Frame rates dropped considerably and the visuals deserve way better than what we currently get out of the Switch.
Plus, the switch is still underpowered by like 8 years now.
Please just give us a Switch Pro or something so that I can play TOTK at more than what feels like 12fps and 720p.
Here’s a thought: gun ownership is not a right and it was a mistake for that to have been put in the Constitution.
If for the sake of argument we determine that it is not a right, then we can make some actual change. We heavily restrict ownership, prosecute those who have them after a grace period, stop sales of ammo to citizens, heavily monitor borders and ports of entry for firearms, and demilitarize the police.
In addition, we invest in education, social programs, mental health, and improve wages, housing costs, and food costs for everyone.
Instead of all that, we’re going to do nothing and send more money into the military.
I got downvoted real bad when I pointed this out to someone who said “making guns illegal just takes them away from people who need to defend themselves.”
The defense excuse of gun ownership is a myth. It causes way more harm than good.
Nothing a blow torch won’t solve. Will heat that batter up right quick.
When are we getting a PC 2? It’s been decades.
What adblocker are you using? ublock on Firefox does fine
If you don’t want to deal with that, NewPipe is pretty good. I’ve been using it for a bit and love it.
Can be found on f-droid or from their website
Andrew Yang was right when he was calling out the GDP as being a crap metric to monitor the health of our economy. The GDP is meaningless to the average person.
They make more money because they already have so much money. At those levels, the money makes itself.
It wouldn’t reduce the inefficiency though. You still have 50% of that power being lost, which means you need 50% more renewable generation. It’s wasteful.
The double spaces between sentences. Tbh, it is kinda nice for readability.
It’s may be silly to hear, but my privacy is better protected because I’m a nobody.
In the grand scheme of everything, nobody cares about my opinions, my daily habits, my decisions… I’m not in charge of anything, I don’t own anything more than a house and car, I just live my life going to work and trying to mind my own business.
Mar-a-lago and Trump have a lot of influence, there’s a lot to be gained by exploiting his privacy, and many many people have a stake in his life. He matters, so people care.
Nobody cares about me or you, the Joe-middleclass, in any capacity more than trying to sell you things.
Doesn’t justify privacy invasions, but it’s less malicious targeting than at Trump and mar-a-lago.
Not illegally. CFAs are being designed for it and renovated to handle it.
All times. CFA gets so busy, they open two lanes with like 4 people walking around with tablets taking orders and the guy under the tent makes sure people’s orders are correct and organize the cars in the systems to try to minimize mistakes. It helps to keep traffic moving through.
Apologies, the people responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked
In case people don’t know what Project 2025 is.
Here’s the document:

AT LEAST READ THE FOREWARD. It very meticulously lays out their 4 goals:
In plain language they want to:
The whole thing is full of conservative buzz words, “anti-woke” rhetoric, and contradictions about free enterprise while wanting to exert control over people and “big tech.”
But it’s also dangerous because they’re going to attempt to consolidate power to the next Republican president. There are complicated and far-reaching consequences to the things they’re proposing that would take an academic paper to get into. For example, Ron DeSantis just signed a bill making lab-grown meat illegal because of the “global elite.” It doesn’t make any sense, but it’s part of the reactionary, anti-leftist, culture war bullshit the Republicans are on right now.
That summary should be enough to show why this is so dangerous.
