Schitt’s Creek!!
PS4 God of War
I’ve been Xbox, Nintendo, PC my whole life, and eventually borrowed a PlayStation during the pandemic to play through some exclusives. I barely got through the tutorial before putting it down for two years. Got a ps5 eventually and gave it another try… and loved it.
My ego is fine! Enjoy.
I said theoretically because I recall it not being proven, and it’s been a while since I read anything on the topic.
It’s mildly amusing that my statement suggested to you anything remotely close to “studied fact”. Are you getting enough fiber in your diet? Enough water? There’s empirical evidence out there that those can help with constipation. Now that’s a studied fact! Be well! 😇
Aluminum sulfate has also been theoretically linked to Alzheimer’s.
Not very interesting story - in college, I was on the special events committee that brought talent to the campus for entertainment. Sometimes, I was able to meet the talent. We had the pop up video guys come do a talk, afterward they had dinner with the committee members. I ended up getting an invite to intern on the show… but totally blew it. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a total idiot, or just didn’t know how to interview yet. Probably a little of both!
$16.25 for a kids size pasta dish?
Did op edit the post? He didn’t mention specific language at all from what I can see now. Or maybe he said so in a comment elsewhere?
Retirement… omg, retirement
I know you said hidden gems, but I’m fairly new, so I admittedly use more popular apps.
Is it possible to leave the thing powered on, and trigger the updates on a schedule, or remotely?
Sure, but I think there’s still benefit to what the other person did. Search DDG by default, and then if you don’t see good results, it’s one extra click for the google search… vs mousing, clicking, 2 keystrokes…
Hypothetically, ask AI to write a short story in the style of one of these writers. Don’t tell anyone. Get popular, reduce demand for original writer. People only have so much time, after all.
More likely, they just want to be compensated for their “voice”.
Not advocating for either of these… just thinking about why
Perhaps there’s a way to do this via hotspot, but I meant tether via physical connection to the router. Some routers do offer failover to secondary networks. Possibly with qos to prevent scarfing, as you put it ;)
They mean using something with a cellular radio. A router, or a tethered cellphone.

+1 for Arc!

I was like you and didn’t like curved TVs… but I have ultra wide curved displays at home/work, and this use case is awesome! Every part of the screen is about the same distance from my eyes. A typical 34” (3440x1440) is about the same pixel count as 2.5 1080p displays, but with no bezels to split the screen… so it’s perfectly centered. With separate displays I need to center one and set one way off to the side, or center the bezel split and need to always turn my head one way or the other. Webcam is centered. Cable management is easier (one power, one signal). Brackets are less bulky. Desk is cleaner looking.
You’ll get a little less area than 2x 27” 1440p displays.
I don’t know how important HDR is to you. I’ve always had good luck with Dell ultrasharp longevity. They have a 34” for $350.
