No, but we all always do daily backups 😇.

Yes, but afaik, in the installer there is at least the option to select a separate home partition.
OK. I didn’t intend to sound aggressive.
I just stated that there was a more ambitious project that would have worked, but unfortunately ran out of money. I am impressed that Pathfinder 1 was actually built.

I don’t think that the Imperial Star Destroyer qualifies as air ship.
The article states Pathfinder 1 is 124 m long, but does not say that its a 1:10 model. However, Cargolifter CL160 would have been 260 m long.
Not as large as the Cargolifter, which has only been built as 1:8 model for testing, but still impressing.
Yes, and what is aimed for is separation of variables to find a solution of this differential equation. (The differential operator d should be printed as upright letter btw)

As it is an old desk, the inlay was most likely linoleum, which is similar to the PVC mostly used nowerdays for floors, but, however, is made from eco-friendly material.
Also, in Germany, it is still common for married women with children to work half-days only.
As far as I see, there is an explicitly Kurdisch territory. Interestingly, there is also a lot of territory credited to Armenia.
I’d agree with the choice of Debian (or a derivation as LMDE, *buntu, Linux Mint, …), but would suggest KDE. Anyway, I think a beginner should try the distro of their choice on a live medium first to get in touch with the look and feel of the desktop environment.
Productive research is also hard to imagine with such coding practice either.
Yes, it was a course on finite deformation material models. And no, you do really, really not want to declare each and every variable in your material subroutine globally for the whole finite element program.
Yes. He really thought it was efficient and would avoid errors if literally all variables were defined in a single Matlab function he called at the beginning of the script. We students all thought: “Man, are you serious?” As we didn’t want to debug such a mess, in our code, we ignored what he was doing and kept using local variables.
The general difference is, a charger will try to keep the current constant and therefore slightly vary the voltage which may harm the equipment when used as a power supply. A dedicated power supply will try to keep the voltage constant, i.e. independent of the current the hardware is taking.
