I don’t think there’s a good guy. Both parties suck here.

Yes, and ChromeOS is built from Gentoo. That doesn’t mean much, the end user experience is worlds different.
Mostly that it doesn’t work on Steam Deck. Hits memory limits IIRC.
How are you getting 189.27? 1 liter is 1kg, so it should be 190 precisely.
€2m? So basically free?
Harsh words for someone who continues to be their client
I mostly agree, but it would be nice if it was a bit faster to be able to use it for web browsing. I still like reading long form articles and such but navigating and scrolling isn’t very viable yet on e-readers.
It’s annoying all the articles are focusing on performance versus stock wine here when basically everyone uses Proton or a fork of it anyway, which has had fsync for years now that does similar performance uplift.
The story here should be that we’re getting fsync level performance with fewer bug and it can be upstreamed to wine. There is no relevant performance uplift for Proton users, but I guess performance gets clicks so that’s the story all the press are going with.
Why are bars so low? Do Americans like having to use a car when drinking?
Firefox is developed in the open and accepts outside contributions already. The only thing this is adding is a paid membership.
It’s under the shield on the left of the address bar, better protection against tracking enables this and a bunch of other features. Also on by default in private mode.
Firefox does exactly that, in beta at least. When you copy a URL one of the options is to copy without trackers.
Is it though? It’s targetting 5-15W, the other APUs are terrible at lower wattages and only good if they’re blasting through energy.
The speed boost is from the faster RAM, which is a pretty big bottleneck in many cases. Up to 11% faster. In many cases not faster though, just depends on the game and settings.
Works fine in Gamescope. Doesn’t work in any desktop environment.
In other news thieves say police shouldn’t investigate theft.
VR is great, just unfortunate still lacking software. Half Life Alyx and GT7 are amazing experiences unlike anything without VR. Meta’s shit I haven’t tried but on more powerful, Facebook free platforms there’s a lot of great stuff.
You mean like 100 million at most right?
Ideal would be them not reversing a decade of energy savings in the name of AI, but yeah, if they’re going to do that anyway then Nuclear is one of the better options.
