Wanted to come back to this, the 2025 shit went down at or before the time of writing, which a user above reminded me of, so I’ve gone from doubt it to definitely plausible. Thanks for chiming in anyway tho

Feb 2025, and that’s the last episode. The writing in the show was never friendly to the right. Definitely not impossible, but a stretch in my mind. That’s also an extremely small plot point, something that could be added in without any thought or changing story, other writing decisions would have to be further out, but I’ve been wrong about less

I mean, I don’t think so but could be. Filming started awhile ago at this point and final episode aired yesterday. They were already doing the internment camp stuff in the prior season as well. There’s a ton in there that hit way too close to the point that there’s no way someone would think to write it if they thought it could happen or would.

That show has always been a hyperbole of what current events can lead to, but as far as I remember they’ve never done any writing that was intended to be 1:1 and a ton was inadvertently that way, at least that’s their claim.

Shortly before it released, the writers came out and said “a lot of this was written prior to 2025, keep that in mind, but most of this is going to seem way too on the nose given current events”
