You can enjoy pointless things. In fact it’s quite easy to do so: most people do it all the time. Just because my life is comfortable doesn’t mean it has a point yet. And just because I haven’t found a point, that doesn’t mean my life needs to be sad and depressing. It’s easy to live a life of selfishness without caring about what comes after; it’s basically the default way to live

I don’t think “less underage sex” is a good thing. It means that humans remain in a state of childhood longer and longer. They’re achieving life milestones at later and later ages. I’m not gonna say when the correct time for everyone to start having sex is, but when I was in high school 15 or 16 was a lot more common than 18+
