That has absolutely no relation to the question. The question is about when the bike is first started, and still parked, the owner lets it sit there idling loud as fuck, and often revs it up multiple times, for several minutes.

The real answer is that generally speaking these are bikes meant for performance and speed, so they need to warm up before they drive well. The people using them to commute to and from work in and out of the be suburbs are the same people who drive gigantic ass Fuck You pickup trucks to their office job and need special parking because it doesn’t fit in the regular employee lot/garage.

When I migrated to Pixelfed, I imported a backup that was exported from Instagram. It correctly read all the data and the imported posts had the correct original date and captions and everything. Looking at my profile now on pixelfed.social, the import is disabled by admin. So maybe there’s an instance that has the import enabled.
