No surprise, a wide screen tv from the late 90s was big enough to house 2 gaint speakers and a subwoofer.

Yeah it’s very simple if you send one and get one back it’s just a trade. If you send one and get more than one it’s a piramide scheme.
It’s not terrible or anything, but at some point (the bottom) of the piramide a lot a people end up without any books, no way around that.
I get that, I have a smart oven, washer, dryer and dishwasher. All connected to the internet (private guest network just in case), and they all send updates to one Telegram group chat using IFTTT. It’s pretty convenient to get updates when a device is done.
That was probably a year ago it’s every 12 seconds now, unskippable 3 minute ads.
Sure but don’t cry when someone injects some js in your website or drops a table, because you didn’t sanitize every input completely.
Maybe it depends on where you live, but plenty of city street parking with a charger here, not as cheap as using your own solar energy, but still pretty cheap compared to gasoline.
Why would you want a hydrogen car and still be dependent on gas stations? I’d rather just charge at home using solar panels.
Teams always has been shit with Firefox, while there is no reason to be shit. Like people said higher in the comments, if you change the user agent to edge magically new features are enabled.
Also Microsoft claimed to support Linux while in reality they made some half assed desktop client, and dropped support about a year later.
Slack was so much better, I really really hate that our office went with teams. Also for some strange reason teams is the only “website” that seems to crash my entire laptop once in a while and its the only app that makes my phone super hot.
I think for most people it’s “semi aware but just don’t care”.
Yeah Facebook is bad but so is the government etc etc
Hang around security professionals for a while and you’ll realize just how bad things can get. This is the only thing I really miss from Twitter, an interesting group of security professionals I followed.
When I was a kid, me and my friend needed a blank disk. But we both didn’t know the DOS commands to delete or format a disk. So we got an old disk from his dad and rubbed a magnet over it. After that we put it in the computer to see if it was empty. Turned out it was not and DuckTales the DOS game was on it. Still a good day !
For me it was also about the principle. Sure Reddit can make monkey and be a healthy business. But don’t pretend people are leeching of your data, because all the content is created by the users, not Reddit, even the mods are volunteers.
I really hate the attitude where they expect free stuff but don’t want to give anything back.
Same in Europe, MacDonalds used to be the cheap fast option. Now it’s almost restaurant prices. If I pay restaurant money I expect restaurant quality, not fast food.
If the taco truck is behind an alley and the owner has a mustache and scratches his ass and the pork tastes great but a little raw, don’t eat there.
The sad thing is that foxit used to be the great alternative, back in the day.
