double check your resolution settings. if watching on ohone you can probably drop it fown quite a bit. less data coming in means less buffering

it seemed like home assistant handed me over to some official google matter onboarding app included in android.

op is probably not north american. we have really shit infrastructure here. if you live in a major city with good transit you could be fine, but probably 90% of the places you could live make it very difficult to not drive.
