im using the zbt-2 are you saying it runs its own webserver that i can access to onboard new devices? i just need to find the correct port? I know the threads/matter stuff runs in a separate app
it seemed like home assistant handed me over to some official google matter onboarding app included in android.
maybe this is something they can integrate into home assistant proper eventually?
are you confusing google home and home assistant?
smart light control. open front door via phone if i dont have my keys. potential automations like when cats use robot litterbox, run the roomba to pick up litter off the floor
it would be nice to degoogle, but still have some of life’s conveniences
honestly probably wouldnt be the end of the world to have a cheap android laying around just to onboard new devices. im just still disappointed

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•I find this shocking. 60% of Canadians say they feel forced to own a carEnglish
6·9 days agoop is probably not north american. we have really shit infrastructure here. if you live in a major city with good transit you could be fine, but probably 90% of the places you could live make it very difficult to not drive.
i bike, but i dont go more than a mile from my house. buses are awful here. when my kid is born in november i will absolutely need a car to take her to her doctors appointments etc. im not happy about it, but its the reality of not living in a major metropolitan area.
scared of: “new node test” “test seen” “hello from [city]” “recieved in [other city]”

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Have you encountered VHS or Cassette piracy in the 80s?English
17·15 days agoi completely agree. its just the wrong term. when op said “et torrent recorded in the theater” i assumed someone digitized an old pirate vhs and put it up on torrent.
but this may just be like the term “vhs player” where the kids these days have no reason to care that it was called a vcr.
also i could be wrong, but i always understood warez the be more a software thing, and not just any media.

double check your resolution settings. if watching on ohone you can probably drop it fown quite a bit. less data coming in means less buffering
