Cool, working class people aren’t really thriving right now anyway. Maybe an economy crash could result in a restructuring of wealth and new tax policy.

As opposed to what we have going on right now, which is to punish working class people so ruling class people can still have prosperity.
The unemployment is low because people have a gun to their head. Inflation is falling, but it’s not zero, therefore everything is still getting more expensive.
eCoNoMiCs.
To quote the blurb in the post that apparently no one read:
The data showed an increase in hospital admissions of children due to diseases including bacterial infection, RSV, influenza and common cold viruses since October.
Leading scientists said the situation warranted close monitoring, but were not convinced the spike signalled the start of a new global outbreak.

While I totally hear you, the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. They said it was bacterial infections, RSV, and the common cold, and even leading scientists are saying this is normal. The headline is meant to incite surface level reactions like yours.
I mean, nothing of what they’ve written here is emblematic of Leftist rhetoric.
With all due respect, I’ve yet to see any Leftist discourse saying anything remotely like what you’ve written. Even on Hexbear.
I think we better do what the pigs say guys. The threats sound like they’ve got a bone to pick with the US.
Actually, the graph you linked to shows a negative relationship between inflation and wages every single year since 1970. The minimum wage has effectively gone down due to inflation.
Things can improve over time, if everyone in Argentina is willing to take a massive L to their lifestyle/QOL.
Only way they could fix that type of inflation is with a currency surrender program so that it can be destroyed. Which won’t fare well for Argentinians.
All of those things you just wrote are symptomatic of lower intelligence. It’s not judgmental to say that most people are pretty stupid. We all have our moments of course, but most people are stupid when it comes to political ideology. Most people don’t know what the words populism, socialism, capitalism, fascism, communism, or democracy actually mean. You can see this anytime someone unironically calls something “literally 1984”.
Kony is Ugandan. This is about the Sudanese civil war.
Again?
Don’t you see a problem with that? Surely the answer is to communicate sensitive information via a different method, and not over the air where civilians are supposed to have transparency with emergency services. Transparency meaning checks and balances ensuring less corruption. Protect people’s identities by using the new encrypted channel. I don’t care if the officer has to press a different button to make the call.
Right, but from a “carbon footprint” perspective, making new humans is the worst thing a human could do for their footprint. What we need to get away from is the argument that our individual carbon footprints are too high. I mean, they are, but the ruling class is a lot more egregious.
Will just result in new draconian laws being drafted and enacted. Watch how fast people lose the right to peaceful assembly if it actually affected the ruling class.
What do you think China is producing that’s creating all that pollution? I’ll give you a hint. IT’S EVERYTHING WESTERNERS ARE BUYING.
Yeah sure, less than 1% of working Americans make minimum wage. Gonna need a citation for that one.
