Some products, like the AC or a router have an option to program when the LEDs are off or at least let you turn them off manually. With that option, I’m fine with the LEDs no matter how bright they are. Now, permanent lights are a nightmare and as you said, are everywhere… I have a wireless charger in mi nightstand and I use it for seeing the path to the bathroom at night 😁

I’m using Bitwarden for more “serious” passwords and Google for the rest
