Good that most apps I use now are open source but for those few that I still get from Aurora Store it might be a death sentence but perhaps this API could be spoofed?

I always thought that PSU testers were way more expensive but it’s good to know you can buy them relatively cheap. Honestly I’m curious if such a tester would detect anything. Currently the PSU works just fine under heavy load (CPU + GPU stress test). It only happens when I turn off the PC or put it to sleep so low or little to none power draw.

I haven’t seen any bad caps on the GPU or motherboard so I’ll see on the PSU (obviously with caution).

With GPU it’s an easy swap so I once exchanged GPUs with my friend to see if GPU is causing crashes (it was RAM btw) but with PSU I feel it’s a lot of work to unplug everything so I don’t want to bother them too much. I ordered an MSI 800W PSU. I have two weeks to return it if I want but your idea of having a spare is a good one.

I might try to disassemble PSU at some point to check since I don’t see any on GPU or Motherboard.

(Also I know it can be dangerous but I know my way around high voltage from previous work so I should be fine)

Well, that depends on definition. But the joke is why on earth would you want to write types on your shopping list? Like this:

The only benefit now, but what if they start to serve 30 non-skippable ads without premium and ONLY 5 with premium, what a deal! Right? If you hate ads you can just buy higher tier for ONLY $5 more.

I like my headphones not to be e-waste after 2-3 years when batteries die

I started appreciate it after I got phone with only USB-C. Now I swear I won’t buy a phone without it. So basically I can choose between Asus ROG phone or Sony Xperia. I don’t think any other flagship still includes jack.

I drive 25 years old car. It was pretty expensive when it was new so it has all the features I care about. I will not buy a new car until I’m forced to. Also the option to just turn on seats heating without having to pay monthly is quite a bonus.

Valid point. I forgot about 4K… I run just 125% scale so it doesn’t bother me at all. Well it’s kinda funny that both protocols are broken in that regard.

I run 2 monitors with different DPIs and X11 works without an issue. Can’t say the same about wayland where scaling still has so many bugs it’s just unusable.

Breezy however is not and (according to author of that fork) will not be in F-Droid repo. You can download it form IzzyOnDroid or wait for their own F-Droid repository.

Revanced is great because it lets you watch without ads WITH Google account. I know that if you’re focused on privacy the last thing you want is Google account but for me the benefit of YouTube algorithm suggesting me exactly what I want to watch is enough the reason to not use any platform/app that doesn’t support login. Of course they need to try more before I’ll pay for premium. For now if that dialog ever shows up to me I’m setting my UA to Android and see if that happens on mobile YouTube as well. Since they don’t care too much about that version of YouTube it’s possible that dialog will not show up. If that’s blocked too I’m installing waydroid and revanced on it. Also I hope that development of VueTube will speed up because currently it’s so slow I’m not sure if it will ever be finished and it would be great to have alternatives to revanced.
