Just a reminder that [email protected] is the place for specific questions like these. Thanks!
I’d like to see something like Apple’s HomeKey for smart locks.
Reddit accessibility is so poor, nobody can find the switch!
I tried it out during the initial drama and was astonished to see it still missing such a basic accessibility feature. Their app lead said it would be looked into… But it seems like such a wild omission.
Thanks for this! I’ve updated the post body.
Agreed. Exynos is also a pretty cool name. They just need it to be more competitive in terms of performance or overall device cost.
It kept making too many errors!
Is anyone else finding the voice recognition not very impressive?
According to Sam Altman, they have Microsoft’s support for the move. They were likely pushing for his reinstatement.
I can’t say I agree. I’m skeptical about these LLMs accomplishing the things many people think they will, but I think the last technology to transform my life like this was having access to Wikipedia from a smartphone. GPT-4 has proven incredible useful for guiding me through areas I know nothing about, like house buying. I always fact-check it with my own manual searches later, but it has held up remarkably well.
Samsung devices seem to only really be worth it at launch with the aggressive promotional pricing.
They have access to the IP and own the compute resources running OpenAI’s services.

I posted up some more detail from a purported insider on [email protected]. It seems like Ilya Sutskever and others on the engineering side who led the efforts to get him out.
Interesting. I find it much snappier than Google Maps because it can do higher framerates.
Wow. What a legacy. The idea of medical debt for necessary treatment is so wild to me though.
I really like it, but it’d be nice if they offered customization options for folks who feel differently.
https://osmand.net is also an open source option.
It seems to stay properly for me. My gripe is that it doesn’t have an option for automatically changing based on the time of day without the OS also being set to do so.
I think the idea is just to not have to use a separate app to message LLMs.
I didn’t know it does that. Interesting!
