Unfortunately, the mouse is only sold in a keyboard/mouse bundle, but the “CHERRY STREAM DESKTOP RECHARGE” bundle might be something you would be interested in. Both keyboard and mouse have replaceable batteries and these suckers are built to last. The mouse is little bigger, so def. have something in your hand and it has super silent buttons. I especially like the type-feel of the keyboard. I am normally totally I to mechanical keyboards, but I can totally tolerate typing on it. 😉
Edit: Oh, and I forgot. You can recharge them with a USB-C cable. They also use off-the-shelve NiMH rechargeable batteries that you can get almost everywhere if you want to replace it in the future.

Personally, I love Bludit as it is really simple, flat-file and perfect for blogging.
However, you could also look into WriteFreely if you want something with ActivityPub (= Fediverse). Feature wise very very plain and simple, but might noch give you most of the bells and whistles as other platforms would do it. Think of it as an alternative to “Medium”.
Afaik, Freecad has an architecture module/plugin.

That these things in you plate were once feeling, breathing, loving and dreaming individuals. We don’t have the right to exploit and kill them, just because we can.
This would incentivise instances to keep growing, as more users would potentially mean more income. I don’t think that this is a good idea as it conflicts the decentralized nature of the fediverse.
I would suggest that we promote donations more. Seriously, nobody is talking about that stuff.
Furthermore, “money” doesn’t always fix a communities infrastructure issues - people do. Most of the time, admins are a one-person-army. If people would take over work (like moderation, implementing helpful features in code, …) more often, that might help out the admins more than just throwing money at them.
It is the same as with a lot of open source communities: It’s not all about the money, it’s about people getting active and involved and helping each other out.
Definitely NOT writefreely. It is a nice tool, if you want to have a minimalistic blog others on the fediverse can follow, but it is extremly bad at interacting with literally anything, yet. (This might change in the future, but at the moment, WF is not really made for your use case.)
