I Spotted Nessie!

I was thinking, “any second and they’re gonna show that bong”. Nope. Very disappointing.

I’m starting to regret not having a separate home partition.

I’ve been on Manjaro for years, but have been considering switching to Endeavour or CachyOS (or maybe vanilla Arch, but I’m lazy). Looks like it may be time to ditch Manjaro.

It’s beautiful

I prefer metric, it just makes more sense. Also having to add fractions in order to measure something is maddening. 10 1/4" + 4 17/32" vs. 260mm + 115mm

The toughest part was the drywall. The guys who know what they’re doing make it look so easy. It’s not!

it’s very cool in there with the AC

It was an add on to give my kid more space in her room. She loves it

yeah it was a bit warm up there! Comfortable once I got the insulation in though.

I get this is an endurance test, but this sounds miserable. Not being able to lie down for 3 months would be awful.

That’s exactly how I like it. Terminal, white text on black background. Browser, etc in light mode.
thanks for the tip, I’ll check out krohnkite
Been a KDE user for many years. I recently started using Niri with DankMaterialShell, and it’s pretty awesome. I suspect at some point I’ll drift back to my beloved KDE. But I’m loving the new shiny thing at the moment.
I keep a win10 VM around that I fire up on the rare instance I need to do something in windows. I agree with forgetting about dual boot.
All my airport signs run Arch, BTW.
Right, the thing that caught my eye was running a full desktop OS for a sign board.
This is one of the things I love about my Thinkpad. It has a little sliding cover for the camera.
