I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make. It seems like what you’re saying doesn’t follow the conversation logically. I think that’s why the other commenter asked if you’re ok.

Does it? I love answering questions and I answered yours
I knew a goth girl in high school who was into blood play. She wanted to be cut during sex. I don’t think she was otherwise into self-harm which is interesting.
All humans? No. There are plenty of people who couldn’t care less what you want to know.
You’ve definitely given us enough information to make a decision. This is actually an alien probe.
I would say probably. As the internet has shown us cats can be trained to do so many things.
You would need to understand the fundamentals of cat training, the things that motivate your cats, and a lot of patience.
They’re not distinctly a pack animal but feral cats often form groups to benefit their survival. A cat pack is called a clowder. :)
As others have said it is never too late to learn a language. Our brains are just as capable, if not more, when we’re adults.
I’m also a firm believer that comprehensible input (listening and attempting to understand) is the best way to learn a language. You can’t start with high level speech though. You need to start with speech that is aimed at beginners or you won’t understand enough for it to be effective.
Studying vocabulary in parallel helps a lot because it helps you learn niche words that don’t come up often in normal speech.
The typical recommendation with comprehensible input is to listen for around a thousand hours and then start practicing with conversation and books as well.
Good luck! Remember that with enough dedicated time you can learn anything. :)
As in via a product? Code itself isn’t worth much. It’s the stuff we make with it that has value.
Well that’s worrying… thanks for the heads up!
Yeah, I keep everything important backed up. I’m definitely fine if it dies. I’m just curious really.
It’s a relatively recent 1TB Samsung 980.

This one doesn’t even seem that bad. At least here the parking is clustered around a campus where people walk around and interact with each other.
I guess I’m in the minority because I don’t mind subscriptions much. If I think it’s unreasonable I just won’t pay for it. Nobody is forcing me to.
AFAIK the pcie bandwidth difference from using gen 3 isn’t particularly noticeable. I’ve recently upgraded to a 6600 that I got for cheap and I would say it’s a pretty good card. The only problem is that performance varies a lot. Some games play well with it while others do not.
If you actually didn’t care you wouldn’t be writing these comments.
Same here. I liked their early content but it was obvious they crossed a line and everything new was driven by the dollar signs. If anything this GN video shows just how greedy Linus has become.
I don’t. I suspect we’re the minority of Reddit users though. It’s a hard addiction to give up even with an okay replacement like Lemmy or kbin.
Could you be more specific?
I too met my wife on Omegle. It was in text chat. We were both around 14 years old at the time. I don’t remember what talked about but we ended up exchanging phone numbers. We texted for years and would sometimes play video games together.
Eventually towards the end of high school I was able to fly out to visit her. I did that a few times and was totally convinced at the point I was in love. So I moved across the country to be with her after graduation.
Married and few years ago and we’re 27 now so it’s been 13 years since we met on there. :)
