Yeah I tried a lot of different clients and landed on this one for the long haul. It has held up well in the months since then.

I was using Mlem and Voyager before, but when I tried Arctic out I really enjoyed how it played well with video posts (excluding youtube, they just load and you can view them without navigating away) whereas the others would open the link through the in app browser.

I use jerboa. Works for me.
Jerboa is my favorite. Consistant updates, open source, maintained by lemmy developers. Couldn’t ask for better
Voyager is the only open source one.
I would hope we would have learned enough from #enshittification by now that we would refuse to use others unless the devs open source their code.
