Canada actually produces very little vaccines because in the 80s the Conservative government thought it was a waste of tax money. Thankfully that’s changing since the Covid pandemic.
Wouldn’t whether they produce the vaccines themselves have little or nothing to do with how many they have ordered and stockpiled for their populace? I would think that they would have a significant stock of imported vaccines.
The MMR vaccine is the sixth most common global immunization. I’m sure they could find some additional doses if they tried just a little.
Oh wait, I guess this is why trade wars can be bad:
