      Absolutely. So, your solution is normal Americans declare war and wage irregular asymmetric warfare today. Against what? Our local government buildings? The post office? Commit sabotage against what exactly?

      I disagree, not anymore anyway. Sure Vietnam was a wholesale loss. But while the US failed to institute a lasting democracy in Afghanistan, their KD is like 1:200. In 20 years of occupation they lost under 3000 troops. That is with logistics supplying the force on the other side of the world. That’s actually a crazy accomplishment and show of power.

      While the military might not be able to “win” if they fully side with trump, America in for a long and bloody (mostly bloody for the civilians) occupation.
