For the week that began April 7, foot traffic at Target stores dropped 4.7% YoY, according to Placer.ai.
Costco, which unlike Target, defied calls from the Trump administration for private companies to abandon their DEI efforts, notched its 16th straight week of foot traffic increases.
costco also a great place to buy stuff in bulk for much cheaper, while target had alot of shrinkflationing going on , they shrinkflationed, and cheapflationed thier own instore brand"up and up" to dealworty.
thier up and up was very good compared to brand name, but when they were going through shrinkflationing, thier products sucked.
If you switch a reasonable amount of your shopping there and get the “executive” membership, it will literally pay for itself. (Because it gives a few percent back, and that is enough to cover the membership fee)
