As the title asks. I have an up to date prescription, where’s the best place to order from?
I’m on year 6 with a pair I got from ZenniOptical. I’d say they’re a good source.
I like Warby Parker. They’re pricey compared to the other websites mentioned here, but I love the styles. You can order a home try-on kit for free before making a purchase.

I’ve been buying glasses online for decades, and have never had a problem with quality. Or really any problem at all. I’ve used EyeBuyDirect, Zenni, and others, and have always been happy. In fact, I would much rather buy glasses online than in person.
Most of them have clever websites that let you virtually try on the frames and get an accurate view of how they will look. The frames are just fine, and the lenses are cut correctly and polished. My grandmother and my aunt were both opticians, and I have been wearing glasses since I was a kid, so I know a little about quality.
I just did some research, bought and received them. I chose vision direct.
VisionDirect
https://www.visiondirect.com.au/

eye buy direct
black/gray, I can’t handle the lack of colors. you must use the color filter.
Based in US so no thx
I bought mine from Zenni. Pretty good, I can recommend. Though, not sure how much the prices have increased with tariffs. Assuming you’re from the US of A this might affect you.
Never used it, but https://www.specsavers.co.uk/glasses says it has online ordering.
Prices are ridiculous though. I mean I got my last set from there because they had an offer to get prescription sun glasses too, but in the past I’ve just searched cheap glasses online and had some for 10% the cost at the high street.
Quality isn’t as great as say designer frames which I have now, but also I seem to keep wearing my cheap ones as they’re more comfortable for my head.
My answer is Zenni, but I don’t know what the tariffs will do.
I used to love eyebuydirect, especially the replacement warranty. But their quality is lower and needs the warranty while Zenni is less expensive for higher quality 😁
Good to know. Next time I’ll check out ZENNI.
Zenni. I’ve got dozens of glasses from them. Every year if I’ve got money leftover in my health flex spending account I buy glasses. Fashion tint, sunglasses, just for fun, etc. It’s never a waste.
When asking about buying stuff, please include what country you currently live in.
Just reply with information from whichever country you’re in, or any random one.
He’s most likely 'Murican, because they’re the only dumb and self-centered enough bunch to think everything and everyone revolves around them.
Quite right, any country will do - that way the post is useful to more people than just me!
I’m not American, I just live somewhere where literally everything is international to me, so it doesn’t matter if it comes from Timbuktu.
Prescriptions are very country dependent, and most stores will not ship internationally. You should still inform your country.
I’ll second Zenni, been ordering from them for 10+ years.
Can I interest you in contacts instead?
What’s your location? I usually buy from ExtraOptical, happy with them.
Zeelool has some more left field choices if you’re into that. Otherwise I second eyebuydirect
