Chill out, we get it, Twitter sucks.
I’m going to be a bit meta here, but Lemmy is very circle-jerky right now. Lots of fediverse worship (despite potential flaws regarding governance and centralization of activity on Lemmy.world) and daily beatdowns on Twitter, Reddit, and big tech. The whole Reddit API fiasco happened two weeks ago but people are still bringing in that Internet janitor stuff over here.
To be fair, it’s not just limited to here. Pretty much every place is dunking on Twitter and Reddit’s self-owns right now. It’ll die out in a day or two like always
Yeah, it’s like watching a cargo plane crash into an actively derailing train. There’s naturally going to be lots of buzz about it, even if people don’t normally care about planes or trains.

Its like the one on reddit. All bad news and posts about how technology is so awful! They should rename it to anti-technology.

You missed the point. If you look at recent posts on this community, most of them are news about Twitter. They asking is this community to talk about technology, or just community to post news about Twitter.
People brought the reddit circlejerk right over.

there’s no nuance or actual discussion only outrage bait now. if you comment anything other than the current popular opinion you get buried and reported so why even bother?What nuance is there that you want discussed? Elon was always a grifter and in 2015 the signs of that were just starting to show. In 2023 it’s so glaringly aparant only his most devout stans still believe the fantasy world.
Are you content with outrage bait being posted 24/7? Seeing less of Elon would be a good start
