This is how community members in Milford, Massachusetts, described Marcelo Gomes Da Silva, an 18-year-old high school junior who was arrested by immigration authorities and sent to a detention center this weekend.
Gomes Da Silva was driving his father’s car on his way to volleyball practice with some of his teammates Saturday morning when immigration authorities stopped him.
Immigration authorities made the traffic stop because they were looking for Gomes Da Silva’s father, who is unlawfully present in the country, according to Todd Lyons, acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
After learning Gomes Da Silva was also unlawfully present in the U.S., ICE officers took him into custody, Lyons said Monday at a news conference.
I don’t remember all of them, but I still check on Mahmoud regularly. I can’t do much about it, but I haven’t forgotten that he’s been sitting there for months without committing a crime.

If you like buying stocks maybe invest in SpaceX’s competitors.
For billionaire donors you can boycott their companies for example Uline is another big donor. We can make a difference. I see them as a good boycott target due to their reputation of being overpriced. Whenever you buy something online look at the box and labels. Do you see the words Uline on it? If so contact the vendor and tell them that Uline is overpriced and unethical, they can save money by switching to another supplier. Not really. Escalation can mean more public sentiment in favor of enforcement, but remember this is the same country where everyone has been pissed at the police for decades. Escalation means retaliation, and if you push them off the cliff to open genocide, you can shock people into doing something about it.
