Once they’ve figured out they’re a trans man. Most transphobes don’t even know trans men exist.

Because opting out of masculinity is a deep and fundamental insult to their entire world view, and being trans is kind of damaging to their whole essentialist ethos.
Yup, it absolutely crushes them to not only think that someone would actively reject masculinity, but it also can trigger some serious issues questioning their sexuality when they’re attracted to a transwoman. It’s kind of a “Hurt itself in its confusion” moment because their internal crisis could be fixed by just saying “Yeah, I like women and she is a woman” but instead have this deep sense of self-hatred because they’re attracted to “a guy”.
It’s also part of the reason they really don’t give a shit about transmen. It’s understandable they’d want to want to be a man, because of course they would, being a man is awesome! They don’t have to question their sexuality, because even if they’re super masc, they’re still a woman, so they’re definitely not even a little gay.
Because they are disgusted by the idea that they might get too far into raping someone before realizing the victim has a penis.
Because apparently all of them have an inherent urge to sexually assault others, and they think it isn’t fair that someone like them can dress as a woman to assault people in the women’s bathroom.
Because they hate women and wish to oppress them wherever and whenever possible.
Fascism requires “out groups” to hate, persecute, and eventually exterminate. As a convenient scapegoat for gaining favor among the evangelical southern baptist christian voting blocs, trans people have the dubious honor of being selected among the first few targets. It’s nothing personal. It’s just fascism.
